Mumbai: Following the ongoing Rajasthan political crisis Congress MLA Giriraj Singh Malinga revealed that Sachin Pilot offered him Rs 35 crores to cross-vote in Rajya Sabha elections, but he refused.
He further said that the incident took place at his residence before December and then the Rajasthan Rajya Sabha elections.
MLA Giriraj Singh Malinga was inducted into the Congress in September last year along with five other BSP MLAs. The six-BSP MLA submitted an affidavit to the state assembly speaker CP Joshi for merging the legislature party with the Congress.
Earlier, Rajasthan Chief Minister Gehlot has blamed the BJP for attempting to destabilize the state government by poaching legislators during the Rajya Sabha elections.
