“Saffron Party Hate Muslims, They Removed Their Names From Voters List” AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal

Mumbai: Targeting the BJP, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal has recently alleged that the names of Muslim voters in Delhi have been removed by the Modi Government as they hate of Muslims.

This comes while addressing the rally on saturday, were he also asked to vote his party for upcoming lok sabha election.

Kejriwal claims that nearly 30 lakhs names has been removed from the electoral rolls in Delhi, in which 15 lakh belongs to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, while eight lakh are Muslims and four lakh are ‘baniya’ (trader class).

Meanwhile he also said that “If we win all the Lok Sabha seats in Delhi we can do the same work, which took four years to complete because of the obstacles created by the BJP, just in a year.”

“BJP removed the names of Muslim voters because they hate Muslims. The party also deleted the name of ‘baniya’ community because they know that the trader class would not vote for them because of the GST,” he added.

He further said that the BJP does not like the people of eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar and in this way it has removed their names from the voters list.

“They (BJP) are moving the ‘purvanchalis’ out of Delhi, the same way they have done in Mumbai,” the Chief Minister said.

Earlier, Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party to win 67 of the 70 constituencies in the 2015 Delhi Assembly elections, leaving the BJP with three seats and the INC with none. In those elections, he was again elected from the New Delhi constituency, defeating Nupur Sharma by 31,583 votes. He took oath on 14 February 2015 as Delhi’s chief minister for a second time at Ramlila Maidan. Since then his party has passed the Jan Lokpal Bill though with some differences.
