Samantha Prabhu Charged ₹5 Crore For ‘Oo Antava’ Song: Reports
Mumbai: Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu reportedly charged ₹5 crores for her song ‘Oo Antava’. Samantha had earlier said that she had reservations about the song.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa: The Rise, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, is one of the most talked-about films in India at the moment. Samantha, who strikes the right chord with her item number, thanks Allu Arjun for persuading her to sing.
“There were many hurdles. I was unprepared because I feared how the song would turn out. But, Allu Arjun, sat down and convinced me. Without his encouragement, I would not have accepted to do ‘Oo Antava’.” Samantha said.
“Now that this song has become viral all over the country, I have to thank Allu Arjun”, the ‘Ye Mayachesave’ actress said.
Allu Arjun and Samantha had earlier shared their screen presence in Trivikram Srinivas’ superhit film ‘S/O Satyamurthy’.
Samantha is currently working on two multilingual projects while she has been offered some Bollywood ventures, which are to be announced soon.
‘Pushpa – The Rise’ narrates the Red Sanders robbery in the hills of Andhra and depicts the complex nexus that unfolds during the story of a man who is obsessed with greed.
