Sanjay Raut Expresses Concern Towards Situation In J&K, Seeks Explanation From Defence And Home Minister

Two non-local were killed in an open fire at Wanpoh area of south Kashmir's Kulgam district on Sunday

Mumbai: Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has shared concern on the increasing terrorist activities in the union territory of Jammu Kashmir for the past few days.

He has called the situation worrisome and said that the immigrants are being attacked in the union territory.

“Situation in J&K is worrisome. Bihari migrants, Kashmiri Pandits, Sikhs are being targeted…When its about Pak, you talk of surgical strikes. Then, it should be done for China too…Defence Min or HM need to tell the nation what’s the situation J-K & Ladakh,” said Raut.

Sanjay Raut’s statement came after two non-local were killed in an open fire at Wanpoh area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday.

The attacks have drawn strong condemnation attention of many political parties.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nikhil Anand has also condemned the increasing violence and said, “I believe that these ‘targeted’ civilian killings are carried out with the support of Pakistan supporters and Taliban sympathisers. I strongly condemn these incidents. I believe that the government, under PM Modi’s guidance, will take strong action against this incident.”

On Saturday evening, a street vendor from Bihar was killed in the Eidgah area of Srinagar whereas, on the same day a carpenter from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh was killed at Litter in Pulwama district.
