Seeing The Protocol, Punjab CM Captain Amrinder Singh Will Not Welcome IAF Pilot Abhinandan At Wagah Border

Mumbai: Captain Amarinder Singh who was about to come at Wagah Border to welcome Abhinandan, IAF Pilot whose plane was crashed and landed in Pakistan, won’t be coming to Wagah Border after looking towards the protocol.

Earlier Captain Amarinder Singh tweeted saying “Dear Narendra Modi Ji, I’m touring the border areas of Punjab & I’m presently in Amritsar. Came to know that pid_gov has decided to release #AbhinandanVartaman from Wagha. It will be an honour for me to go and receive him, as he and his father are alumni of the NDA as I am.

But later on, he decided not to go ensure protocol is not violated.

Abhinandan who is on the way and about reach by 4 pm will come to India via Wagah Border and firstly will go for Medical check-up.

Also, BSF has decided, Retreat Ceremony will not be conducted seeing the security of the people.
