Mumbai: A sex racket was busted at a spa centre in the Wakad area of Pune and four women were rescued. The spa manager, identified as 31-year-old Ranvir Rathod, was arrested.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Social Security Cell of Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Crime Branch led by Senior Inspector Prasad Gokule raided Traco Treat Spa at Songira Landmark in Kaspate Vasti on Monday evening, police said.
Police have identified the spa manager as Ranveer Rathod (31), a resident of Charholi. Rathod and a woman, who also acted as managers, have been booked under sections of the IPC and the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. The search is on for the woman.
