Shane Watson Announces His Retirement From BBL

Mumbai: Shane Watson the right-handed Australian batsman announces his retirement from domestic T20 cricket to spend more time with his family.

As to give time to his family he took on the retirement from the league.

Watson has played 41 BBL matches, 1 for the Brisbane Heat and 40 for the Sydney thunder commencing with their BBL premiership season.

His retirement from the international cricket came in 2016, the all-rounder continued as a Sydney Thunder captain as well as players a number of T20 matches in various countries.

Watson is currently playing in the ongoing Indian Premier League in the Dhoni named franchise CSK.

In the match against Sunrisers, he played a brilliant knock of 96 runs after being having a bad form in several matches.
