Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a rally said NCP Leader Sharad Pawar as a wise man who is a step ahead of time and understand the direction where the wind blows.
He was addressing a rally here in Madha, Maharashtra.
“Sharad Pawar is a step ahead of time and understands the direction where the winds blow, he is quite a prominent player. He never does any such things that affect him or his family.
Prime Minister criticizes saying, “Now I came to know that why Sharad Rao (Pawar) ran from fielding in elections. Those who sit in Delhi AC room doesn’t know the ground reality and keeps a record of things that what happens who hugs whom, who shakes hands with whom or who looks at whom”.
“Who was the agriculture minister, Sharad Pawar Ji? You could have done many more things for the upliftment of farmers but was busy in running his own shops (mills)”, PM.
PM Modi further took a jibe against Congress for calling all Modis as thieves, he said, “Congress and its allies say that all Modis are thieves. They have not left a single chance to abuse my backward caste but this time they have crossed the limits by abusing the entire backwards class”.
He added saying, “They first voiced as ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’ and when the entire nation sloganed themselves calling Chowkidar, they locked their lips”.
PM knowledged people to vote for BJP and stated that BJP is the only government that has the capability to bear the weight of India.
“It is vital to have a strong leader to run such a big country. Through majority in 014 elections, people gave me chance to fight for the country and through this immense strength, I took several decisions for everyone and especially benefiting to poor”, PM Modi to the massive rally.
After Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra stands as the second highest state to have 48 Lok Sabha seats.
Maha will go for voting in the first 4 phases. On 11th April in the 1st phase, 7 seats went for elections.
On April 23 in the 3rd phase, Madha Lok Sabha seat will go for voting. Its neighbouring constituency, Solapur will poll on 23rd April.
Results will be declared on May 23.
