Shilpa Said She Wasn’t Aware Of Content On Adult Video App, Husband Is Innocent: Report

Mumbai: Actress Shilpa Shetty has claimed she wasn’t aware of the content on the adult video app after her husband Raj Kundra was arrested in a porn videos case, ANI reported.

According to ANI sources, Shilpa Shetty told the Mumbai Police that she was not aware of the exact contents of the Hotshot app and claimed that she had nothing to do with the application. This is in connection with a case related to the production of pornographic films, in which her husband is the main accused.

The actor claimed that her husband Raj Kundra was innocent and was not involved in the creation of pornographic material. It said it is London-based Pradeep Bakshi who was associated with the Hotshot app and it’s working.

ANI Sources in Mumbai Police said that Shilpa Shetty also mentioned that the content of erotica is different from pornography. She also talked about being full of erotica content similar to other OTT platforms which are not considered porn.

Mumbai Police on Friday raided the residences of Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra. Police have recovered a hard disk and a computer from his residence. According to sources, Mumbai Police is probing whether Shilpa Shetty played an active role in the entire porn racket in which her husband is the main accused.

Mumbai Police questioned the actor on his information about the Hotshot app on which obscene material was uploaded.

He was asked whether he was aware of the work related to uploading obscene material going on in the premises of Viaan company.

The Mumbai Police is also probing whether the money earned from the porn racket went to Shilpa Shetty’s account. A Mumbai court on Friday sent actor Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra and his associate Ryan Thorpe to police custody till July 27 in a case related to the production of pornographic films.

The Mumbai Police on Tuesday informed that the Property Cell of its Crime Branch had so far arrested a total of 11 people, including Kundra for their alleged involvement in the crime.
