Shiv Sena Leader Sanjay Raut Criticized Mamata Banerjee Over Attack On Amit Shah Roadshow

Mumbai: Criticizing TMC chief Mamta Banerjee, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that it is unfortunate “opposing the attack on the BJP president Amit Shah’s roadshow for the country’s democracy.

“West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee did not want Narendra Modi and Amit Shah in Bengal. Has anyone stopped Mamta from coming to Gujarat?” Raut asked.

He said that it is unfortunate that the statue of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar, a prominent philosopher and chief of Bengal Renaissance, was polluted.

Responding to the remarks of the NCP chief Sharad Pawar that the government of the minority led by Modi will not last long, like the Vajpayee government in 1996, Rout said that many speculations till 23 May (when the results of the Lok Sabha will be announced) Will be there.

The Shiv Sena leader said, “I think the NDA will continue to rule. In the past, many minority coalition governments had fulfilled their conditions. This time, this will also go through.”

Due to drought in the state, Rout said that Shiv Sena has started relief work in 18 districts.

He said, “We are helping in the fodder camps, providing water tankers to the needy people. Even if Uddhav Thackeray is out of the country, but he is taking daily information about the state of drought.”
