Shocking Incident In Lucknow: Minor Girl Brutally Thrashed Over Property Dispute

Mumbai: In a distressing incident highlighting the growing trend of crimes against women in Uttar Pradesh, a minor girl was brutally thrashed by a miscreant in the state’s capital, Lucknow. The shocking event, captured on video and now viral on social media, shows the girl, identified as Deepshikha Tiwari, being repeatedly slapped by a man over a property dispute.

The incident occurred in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. Deepshikha Tiwari was staying at her uncle’s house in the area while preparing for a government job when the attack took place. The video reveals the girl interrupting a man speaking on the phone, allegedly arguing with the person on the other end of the call. The man, seated on a chair, becomes furious, stands up in anger, and slaps Deepshikha multiple times in front of her uncle, while also hurling abuses at her.

Reports indicate that the assailant and his accomplices had forcefully entered the house, attempting to illegally take over the property belonging to Deepshikha’s uncle. The local police have taken immediate action following the video’s circulation. A complaint has been registered under the POCSO Act at Gomti Nagar Police Station.

A police spokesperson stated, “A case has been registered at Gomti Nagar Police Station under the POCSO Act and other sections. A team has been formed to arrest the accused soon. The accused will be arrested soon, and legal action will be taken.”

Despite the swift response, the accused remains at large. The police have assured that efforts are underway to apprehend the culprit and bring him to justice.

This incident has once again brought attention to the alarming rise in crimes against women in Uttar Pradesh, urging authorities to take stricter measures to ensure the safety and security of women in the state.
