Mumbai: Indian batsman Shreyas Iyer on Wednesday urged people to stay home and remain active in the wake of the coronavirus epidemic.
Iyer said in a video, “Everyone is fighting there, which has affected the whole country. Our government, medical professionals, police and administration are working for us. It is important we contribute to this cause by staying at home and being proactive,” Iyer said in a video post on Twitter.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday decided to implement the 21-day lockdown in the country as a precaution against the coronary virus.
On Wednesday, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that the total number of positive coronavirus cases in India had risen to 606.
