Pune : Sonali Bendre returns back to the country for a break from her cancer treatment at New York. On her return back home with husband, Manisha Koirala greeted her with a warm message via twitter.
No wonder, Manisha had been supporting Sonali since she had been coping with cancer, her message read, “Welcome dear.. discovering “the new normal”will be exciting.. navigating mindfully, it is indeed a soulful time !! You have shown grace n strength in trying times.. you are gorgeous inside out!! Big hug.” To this, Bendre responses, “Than you my dear for all the consistent support. Lots of love.”

Being the best of friends to each other, Manisha had been motivating her since the time of treatment, her previous tweets share, “@iamsonalibendre by the grace of god all will be fine and you will be back home soon with good news sending love n prayers my friend.” Sonali Bendre have always been supported by various actors in the industry within which Manisha had been her constant source of motivation.
Talking about her journey of treatment, Sonali said, “Over the past couple of months, I have had good days and bad ones. There have been days when I’ve been so exhausted and in so much pain that even lifting a finger hurt. I feel like sometimes it’s a cycle one that starts off with physical pain and leads to mental and emotional pain”. However, crossing the barriers, it hadn’t been easier for her but the courage was worth everything. Sonali stated that, “forcing yourself to be happy and cheerful all the time serves no purpose,” therefore sometimes it’s OK to have bad times. But as the industry knows the actress’ refinement, she will definitely “switch on the sunshine.”
