Mumbai: Popular playback singer SP Balasubrahmanyam admitted for treatment of COVID-19 and on life support is extremely critical, he was treated by a hospital here on Thursday.
MGM Healthcare said that Balasubrahmanyam, better known as SPB on August 5, has been placed on ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) and other life support measures.
Assistant Director (Medical Services), MGM Healthcare, Drs. Anuradha Baskaran said in a statement, “His condition has become more serious in the last 24 hours, giving him more and more life support and he is extremely important.”
A team of specialists from the hospital is monitoring her health status, she said.
