SP-BSP Alliance Will Do Well In UP, While BJP Will Not Even Secure 17 Seats

Mumbai: According to West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, SP-BSP will do well in UP for ongoing Lok Sabha Polls. Mamata’s prediction comes a day after the completion of phase 4 elections.

Uttar Pradesh shares one of the maximum seats 80, where the senior leader of BJP party like PM Narendra Modi, and Home Minister Rajnath Singh will be fighting from the state, meanwhile, Mamata has predicted that saffron party would not be able to clinch even 17 seats out of 80.

While talking about the alliance, Banerjee claimed that the parties are talking as far as PM Modi’s label was ‘Khichdi’, Banerjee asked what was wrong with Khichdi. “You may also have rice, lentils or potato curry. It is inserted into khichdi, “she argued.

In 2014, the BJP won 70 seats and its ally Apna Dal secured two seats in Uttar Pradesh.
