Sri Lanka Government Plans To Ban Burqa As Death Toll Rises To 359

Mumbai: Sri Lanka government aftermath the worst terror attack in the history of Sri Lanka, the government is planning to impose ban on burqa as death toll rises to 359!

According to the Sri Lanka sources, considerations is in process with Muslim leaders on ban of burqa.

Also, the matter is been discussed with President Maithripala Sirisena.

The decision came as various female in Dematagoda attack escaped wearing burqa of Sunday’s terror blast.

Whereas, an MP of ruling United National Party (UNP), Ashu Marasinghe conducted an private member’s motion in the country saying, “I urge that there should be an ban on burqa aiming for safeguard to our country”.

“Blessings of Islamic scholars are with our step”, he said while saying that Burqa is not an traditional wear of Muslims.

“My wife does not wear burqa even I don’t make my children to wear it and now soon statement will be made by Muslim religious groups”, UNP MP Mujibur Rahman said.

Total 359 were killed in Easter Sunday in 8 serial terror attacks. Thowheed Jamath which is an local Muslim organization has claim responsibility of the attack.
