Success Of Lockdown To Be Judged Finally On Our Ability To Tackle COVID-19: Manmohan Singh

Mumbai: Former Prime Minister D.R. Manmohan Singh said on Thursday that the success of the lockdown would ultimately be judged on the country’s ability to deal with COVID-19 and stressed that the key to success in the fight between the Center and the states is against the deadly virus.

Singh made this remark during a meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) headed by the party’s interim president Sonia Gandhi.

Congress leader Randeep Surjewala tweeted: “Dr Manmohan Singh says, “Necessary to focus on a number of issues in this fight… Fight against COVID-19 would very much depend upon the availability of resources…”
