Super Cyclone Amphan Reaches 120 Km East-Southeast Of Paradip, Odisha

Mumbai: Cyclone Amphan reached about 120 Km Southeast of Paradip, Odisha at 8:30 IST in the morning according to the Indian Meteorological Department.

Strong winds and high tides were experienced in many parts of Odisha with the wind speed of 182 kmph and rainfall measuring 11.0 mm.

The ‘Super Cyclone’ is currently moving with the speed of 18 kmph and is all set to make a Landfall in the afternoon.

However, the people from both the alert zones in Odisha and West Bengal have been evacuated to the shelter camps set up by the concerned governments.
