Sushmita Sen Makes Her Come Back With Debut Web Series ‘Aarya’
Mumbai: After a long gap, Bollywood actor Sushmita Sen made her comeback with a captivating trailer for her debut web series ‘Aarya’, which is scheduled to air on 19 June.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Sen announced the release of the trailer and wrote: “How long can she stay away from crime, when it runs in her blood? Sushmita plays the protagonist, a powerful and strong character who goes beyond the boundaries to save his family from the world of crime.
The trailer showcases the strength and tenacity of Aarya (Sen’s character), who transforms from a good wife and dutiful mother into a fierce woman.
The two-minute and 21-second-long trailer begins with shots of beautiful moments shared by Arya with her three children and her businessman husband, essayed by actor Chandrachur Singh.
When her husband is shot in broad daylight by some unknown people, the plot takes a U-turn. Aarya pursues her husband’s business to find out if there are any dark secrets.
The story slowly unfolds several twists and turns to a mother trying to save her children.
Directed by Ram Madhwani, the series features lead roles, including Namit Das, Manish Chaudhary, Sikander Kher, Vinod Rawat.
