Swara Bhasker Dons Multiple Looks In ‘Aapkey Kamrey Mein Koi Rehta Hai’

Mumbai: Swara Bhasker has created a niche for herself in the industry, constantly breaking stereotypes with her choice of roles – be it her stellar performance in Nil Battey Sannata, her unusual choice of playing an erotic singer in Anaarkali of Aarah, or her rebellious character in Veere Di Wedding. A pioneer in the digital space, the actress is now prepared to surprise the audience once again in her latest web outing – MX Original Series, ‘Aapkey Kamrey Mein Koi Rehta Hai’.

Swara has donned multiple looks in this 5-episodic horror-comedy, from a suave and independent office going woman to looking beautiful in ethnic wear or in short hair, thick glasses in an avatar like never before.

Here’s a quick look at the versatility that she has portrayed and spoken about the same, Swara Bhasker says, “The idea is to try things you haven’t done before, for me – it keeps the thrill and passion of the job alive. I tried out multiple looks for ‘Aapkey Kamrey Mein Koi Rehta Hai’ and it was quite exciting. I wanted to try chopping my hair for the close crop look, but I was shooting for other projects and it wasn’t possible. So, I tried about 5 wigs and different eye colours to master this look, and there’s an interesting twist to why I am looking this way, you should watch the show to know more.”

‘Aapkey Kamrey Mein Koi Rehta Hai’ sees four friends Nikhil, Subbu, Kavi and Sanki rejoice as they find a 4 B.H.K for a measly rent, in a city like Mumbai. Their joy is short-lived when they find out that they would be sharing their amazing new flat with a newly acquired roommate who is a ghost. The comedy of horror begins when the beautiful Mausam comes for their housewarming party. Starring Swara Bhasker, Sumeet Vyas, Naveen Kasturia, Amol Parashar & Ashish Verma, the 5- episodic series, directed by Gaurav Sinha, will stream for FREE, starting 22nd January exclusively on MX Player.
