Following the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan and the subsequent takeover by the Taliban, the ruling terrorist group is compiling a list of killings of women allegedly involved in prostitution.
It is believed that the Taliban may give death penalty to sex workers.
A report in Hindi daily Navbharat Times quoted ‘The Sun’ as saying that Taliban death squads are also searching through porn sites where some Afghan women are seen in sexual acts with foreigners.
It is being told that this terrorist group is running a campaign to identify women who work in prostitution.
In the previous Taliban regime, from 1996 to 2001, many such women were publicly sentenced to death.
The report quoted a source as saying that Taliban fighters are looking for porn sites to kill Afghan sex workers or to keep them as sex slaves.
During their previous regime, the terrorist group had brutally killed such women. It is believed that the Taliban has emerged as the biggest threat to such women.
Over the past 20 years, the group reportedly continued to kill women who had illicit sex or had sex outside of marriage.
