Tejashwi Slams Bihar State Government’s Employment Policy After 2 Biharis Killed in JK

Two non-local labourers were killed in an open fire at Wanpoh area of south Kashmir's Kulgam district on Sunday

Mumbai: Reacting to the killing of two Bihari labourers in the Jammu and Kashmir terror attack, Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of opposition in Bihar assembly, on Monday, targeted the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar saying they failed to provide jobs in the state, resulting in people migrating to other places for employment.

“No employment and job opportunities in Bihar, and if you move out of the state, get killed,” Yadav tweeted.

He further slammed saying that the state government of Janata Dal (United) and Bharatiya Janata Party combine has done a mere formality by announcing compensation for the kin of those killed.

The chief minister has announced Rs 2 lakh each for the families of demise.

“Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar Ji, after adjudging the worth of a Bihari’s life at Rs 2 lakh, will be unconcerned without expressing any condolences,” the Rashtriya Janata Dal leader added.

In a telephonic conversation with Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Kumar expressed serious concerns over the killings.

For the past few days, terror activities in the union territory have increased. Two non-local labourers were killed in an open fire at the Wanpoh area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday.

The attacks have drawn strong condemnation attention of many political parties.

On Saturday evening, a street vendor from Bihar was killed in the Eidgah area of Srinagar whereas, on the same day a carpenter from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh was killed at Litter in Pulwama district.

Security forces in the union territory, over the past few days, have neutralised 13 terrorists in encounters.
