Mumbai: The government said on Tuesday that 129 fresh COVID-19 cases were registered in Telangana, killing 2,96,802 people, while a death toll was 1,619.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has the highest number of cases with 23 cases, followed by nine in the government bulletin in Rangareddy, providing details by 8 pm on Tuesday 15 February.
With 166 patients getting cured of the disease, recoveries mounted to 2,93,540. There are 1,643 active cases in the state and -24,851 samples were tested on Monday.
The Bulletin stated that cumulatively, more than 83.36 lakh samples have been tested. The samples tested per million population were over 2.23 lakhs.
The mortality and recovery rate in the case stood at 0.54 per cent and 98.90 per cent as against the national average of 1.4 per cent and 97.3 per cent.
