Mumbai: The state government said on Monday that COVID-19 cases fresh from Telangana fell from 700 to more than 2.64 lakh after a gap of six days, while the toll reached 1,433.
602 cases were reported in the state after testing 24,139 samples with Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) (129) samples for most infections after Bulletin 62 and Medchal Malkajgiri 60.
The active cases were 11,227. So far, about 51.58 lakh samples have been tested in the state.
The Bulletin stated that the samples tested per million population were more than 1.38 lakh.
The case fatality rate in the state was 0.54 percent, while at the national level it was 1.5 percent.
The recovery rate was 95.20 per cent against 93.7 per cent in the country, the bulletin added.
