Terror Alarm: Security Tightened Up Near Taj Mahal Palace, Hotel Colaba After Bomb Threat From Pakistan

Mumbai: Police forces have tightened security around Mumbai’s Taj Mahal Palace, Hotel Colaba, and Taj Lands End on Monday morning after receiving a threatening call from Karachi in Pakistan to bomb Mumbai’s Taj Hotel.

As per reports, a caller threatened to bomb the famous 5-star hotel, which was first targeted on November 26, 2008. “Everybody witnessed the terrorist attack on the Karachi Stock Exchange, now the 26/11 attack in the Taj Hotel will happen once again,” the caller said.

Notably, the terror threat comes a day after 10 people died in a grenade attack near the Pakistan Stock Exchange building in Karachi.
