Terrorists Attack On Security Forces In Jammu Kashmir 6 personnel injured

Mumbai: Six security personnel were injured after an attack was launched on the security forces in Kakasarai area of Karan Nagar in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.

The incident comes barely two days after two truck drivers were killed by suspected terrorists near Chitragam of Shopian.

According to an update by the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the incident took place in the evening, when the militants, leaving three injured, opened fire on the trucks. Two of the injured died on the spot. The other injured truck driver has been sent to the hospital in Srinagar for treatment. However, the area has been closed after the incident.
