This Decade Will Belong To Indian Entrepreneurs, Says PM Modi

Modi said that the true potential of entrepreneurs will come to the fore when the government stands with the industry as a partner

Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed confidence that the coming decade will be for Indian entrepreneurs and said the goal of a $ 5 trillion economy was a step towards realizing big dreams.

Modi said in a program, “As we enter the new decade, I would like to say that this decade will be for Indian entrepreneurs. The dream of making India a $ 5 trillion economy is just one step. We have big dreams and There are great expectations.”

He said that Indian entrepreneurs have the ability to take risks, desire to expand their business into new areas and aspire to achieve something bigger.

Modi said that the true potential of entrepreneurs will come to the fore when the government stands with the industry as a partner.

The Prime Minister said the government has “tried to improve with intent, perform with integrity, make changes with intensity” and has made vigorous efforts for “process-driven and professional governance”.

PM Modi further noted that the corporate tax rate was the lowest in India, he said that the Goods and Services Tax (GST) reforms or public sector banking reforms were long overdue.

“Today any hindrances in the growth of Indian industry have been removed,” he said.
