Too Busy With My Work, Not Aware Of What Raj Was Up To: Shilpa On Porn Videos Case
Mumbai: In a statement to Mumbai Police on a porn videos case, Shilpa Shetty said she wasn’t aware of what her husband Raj Kundra was up to as she was “too busy” with her own work.
Her statement is part of the over 1,400-page charge sheet filed by the Mumbai Police against Kundra and the IT head of his company Viaan industries, Ryan Thorpe in the porn racket case. The charge sheet also details the evidence against two others who wanted to be accused in the case, Yash Thakur and Sandeep Bakshi.
In his statement to Mumbai Police, a copy of which is with The Indian Express, Shetty said, “Kundra started Viaan Industries Limited in 2015 and I was one of the directors till 2020 when I resigned due to personal reasons.” Also Read: Bombay High Court Grants Interim Relief To Raj Kundra In Pornography Case
“I am not aware of the Hotshots or Bollyfame apps. I was too busy with my own work and hence, not aware about what Kundra was up to,” she added.

Mumbai Police has said that Hotshots and Bollyfem were some of the applications through which the accused uploaded obscene material online.
Besides Shetty, there are statements of 42 more witnesses to prove the case against Kundra and Thorpe, some of whom are recorded before the magistrate.
So far, 11 people have been arrested by the Mumbai Police in this case, which was busted in February this year after a raid on a bungalow on Mud Island. Police had already filed charge sheets against nine persons in April this year and the rest have been charge-sheeted in the supplementary charge sheet filed on Wednesday.
The Mumbai police had arrested Kundra and Thorpe on July 19.
