Toolkit case: Delhi Court Grants Bail To Climate Activist Disha Ravi

Mumbai: 21-year-old climate activist Disha Ravi, arrested in the ‘Toolkit’ case, got bail on Tuesday after 10 days of police custody. Earlier today, the Delhi Police beat up three activists – Disha Ravi, Nikita Jacob and Shantanu Muluk – accused of inciting the Republic Day violence.

Ravi was arrested earlier this month in Bengaluru for his alleged role of the infamous ‘toolkit doctor’, who, according to Delhi Police, was behind the 26 January violence in the national capital.

Police have described the young activist as a key conspirator in the creation and dissemination of the document, saying that he started a WhatsApp group and collaborated to draft the document.
