A group of tourists, allegedly driving around while drinking and smashing liquor bottles on the roadside, were publicly confronted by locals for polluting the state’s natural beauty.
Caught in the Act: Locals Step In
The incident occurred when a few young men were seen throwing liquor bottles out of their moving vehicle, later smashing them on the streets. According to eyewitnesses, the group was also recording videos and reels while engaging in this reckless behavior.
A vigilant local woman, angered by their actions, intercepted the vehicle and demanded accountability. “Go, go. Jo bottle phoda, woh nikalo,” she said, instructing the group to collect the shards of glass they had strewn across the street.
Very proud by what the Goa locals did here – not only did they get a deserving yelling but were made to pick up the pieces of the bottles they were smashing on side of the road.
