Tripura Reports 164 New COVID Cases, State Tally Rises To 6,785

Mumbai: A health department official said that 164 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Tripura on Friday, taking the state’s tally to 6,785.

He said two more COVID-19 patients were also killed in the state, after which the toll rose to 46.

There are currently 1,705 active cases in the state.

The official said that so far 5,016 people in the state have recovered from the disease.

Eighteen patients have moved to other states.

According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, there were 64,553 new coronavirus viruses and 1,007 deaths in India in the last 24 hours.

The country’s coronavirus count has increased to 2,461,191, including 661,595 active cases, 1,751,556 discharges / migrations and 48,040 deaths.
