Two Tests Positive For COVID-19 In Pune

Mumbai: Two persons, including a 42-year-old woman, were found positive for COVID-19 here on Saturday. After which the woman was admitted to a private hospital in the city and her condition is critical.

ANI quoted Dr Jitendra saying, “She was initially admitted to a local hospital for pneumonia and her samples were sent for the H1N1 test, which was tested negative. However, lab scientist had a slight doubt, and they tested her samples for COVID-19 which were then tested positive.”

Earlier today, District Magistrate of Pune, Maharashtra Naval K Ram said, “Two more people have been tested positive for COVID-19 in Pune, the total number of positive cases in Pune has gone up to 23. A positive case. Ireland has a history. And the other has no recent travel history.”

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said on Saturday that positive cases of coronavirus have increased to 63 in Maharashtra.

The total number of positive cases of coronavirus in India now stands at 258, including 39 foreigners, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Saturday.
