Unprecedented Peace, Progress In J&K Since Article 370 Abrogation: PM
Mumbai: PM Narendra Modi on Thursday said that since the abrogation of Article 370, there has been unprecedented peace and progress in J&K. August 5 marks the second anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370.
On the second anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcated the erstwhile state into two union territories, PM Modi further said two years ago this day was the first major step towards a new Jammu and Kashmir was taken.

The Centre had abrogated Article 370 and bifurcated Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories in August 2019.
