Uorfi Javed Says Bigg Boss 20 Makers Rejected Her

Uorfi said she had been looking for an opportunity to participate in a reality show and considered Bigg Boss 20 after another project did not materialise.

She revealed that she contacted the show’s makers and even attended a meeting, but was ultimately rejected.

“I thought I will do Bigg Boss. Because I wanted to do a reality show. So, when I approached Bigg Boss makers, we also had a meeting, they just rejected me,” Uorfi said.

The actress said the experience was part of a difficult professional phase that she described as a year filled with rejection.

Lock Upp Opportunity Fell Through Over Date Clash

Before approaching the Bigg Boss team, Uorfi said she had received an offer to participate in Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa.

However, she claimed that her dates for another project clashed with the reality show’s schedule. According to Uorfi, she was unable to accept the Lock Upp offer because she had already committed to the other show.

She said she was later told that the existing project had been pushed forward, leaving her frustrated about missing the Lock Upp opportunity.

Uorfi Claims Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 Also Rejected Her

Uorfi further revealed that she considered participating in Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, but claimed that the show’s makers also rejected her.

She said she was also replaced as a mentor on Playground, where she had previously been associated with the show.

According to Uorfi, the second season of her Prime Video series Follow Kar Lo Yaar was cancelled around a month before it was expected to move forward.

Netflix Show Cancelled After One Episode Was Shot

The actress also spoke about another project that she claimed was being developed for Netflix.

The statement was part of Uorfi’s broader discussion about the uncertainty involved in the entertainment industry.

Brand Deals Also Reportedly Decline

Uorfi also claimed that she has experienced a decline in brand collaborations.

She said she previously worked on around five to six brand deals a month, but the number has now fallen to approximately two collaborations a month.
