UP Govt Aiming To Increase Daily COVID19 Testing To 20,000, 5 Lakh Tests Has Been Carried Out Till Now

Mumbai: According to the Chief Minister’s Office, around 18,000 thousand tests were conducted per day, the number of COVID-19 tests conducted in Uttar Pradesh has crossed five lakh.

A tweet from the official handle of the Chief Minister’s Office, UP, stated that the government aims to increase the test limit to 20,000 per day.,

“There are 503 COVID hospitals active in the state right now, there are 1,01,235 beds available in them,” the tweet added.

According to the Union Health Ministry,14,598 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. This includes 5,259 active cases while 8,904 patients have been cured so far and have been discharged. There have been 435 deaths due to infection in the state.
