UP Govt To Give 1 Month Ration Ro 1.65 Cr Families, ₹1,000 To Daily Wage Labourers

Mumbai: In a recent devaluation, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced daily wages and assistance for construction workers amid a lockout-like situation in the state due to the coronavirus epidemic.

He said that 15 lakh daily wage labourers would be given Rs 1,000 and 20.37 lakh construction would be able to meet their day to day needs.

Addressing a press conference, Yogi said, “15 lakh daily labourers and 20.37 lakh construction workers for every 1000 rupees will help meet their daily needs.”

The UP CM also confirmed that a total of 23 people in his state have been found infected with the coronavirus. He said that nine of them have been recovered.

The Chief Minister also urged people to abide by the ‘Janata Curfew’ called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday.

“We all should abide by the Prime Minister to Janata curfew”. All the metro rail, state and city bus services of the state will be closed tomorrow, ”he said.

Following the Center’s advice to hospitals on creating segregation wards for future requirements, CM Yogi said that there is a sufficient number of segregation wards.
