UP: Two Men Allegedly Rape A 17-Year-Old Girl In Muzaffarnagar, Video Shared Online
The girl’s family came to know of the crime after the obscene video went viral
Mumbai: In another shocking incident a 17-Year-Old girl was gang-raped by two men after they took her to an orchard in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district. The accused recorded the criminal act and made it viral on the internet.
The family of the victim came to know about the crime from social media. Later, the victim fled from her house fearing being shamed.
According to a report in Hindi daily Amar Ujala, Police have now traced the girl and initiated action against the accused. The horrific incident took place in the Bhopa area of the district.
“Two men have raped a girl and made a video clip of the account. The girl got upset after the crime and left the house,” said Girija Shankar Tripathi, Circle Officer.
The complaint filed by a woman stated that her 17-year-old daughter was taken away by one village resident Shubham on some pretext. He later allegedly gang-raped the girl along with his other friend Ashish.
The accused later threaten the girl to kill her if she revealed the crime to anyone. The two men also shot a clip of the criminal act and abandoned the girl. The girl’s family came to know of the crime after the accused made the obscene clip viral on social media.
On Saturday evening, the girl ran away from the home, when her family asked the girl about the incident. The family immediately informed the police and filed an FIR naming Ashish and Shubham.
The police found the victim from outside the village and sent her for medical examination. The police have been conducting raids to nab the accused.
The crime against women does not seem to end in Uttar Pradesh.
