Mumbai: The United States on Tuesday said that they are ‘extremely concerned’ about the aggression shown by China along the LAC.
US chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Eliot Engel said that China is once again bullying its neighbours rather than resolving conflicts according to international law.
“Countries must all abide by the same set of rules so that we don’t live in a world where ‘might makes right’. I strongly urge China to respect norms and use diplomacy and existing mechanisms to resolve its border questions with India,” he said.
Earlier, President Trump had offered to mediate between the raging tensions between India and China.
Meanwhile, China has deliberately increased the troops on the other side of the border for the stand-off.
