Vaibhav Gehlot, Son Of Rajasthan CM Accuses BJP Of ‘Conspiring’ To Topple Congress Govt

Mumbai: Vaibhav Gehlot, son of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, on Saturday pulled up the BJP for a “conspiracy” to topple the Congress-led state government in the state.

ANI quoted Vaibhav Gehlot saying in a party address in Jaipur, “The BJP at the Centre is involved in a conspiracy to topple the democratically elected Rajasthan government. For the last year and a half, we have worked for farmers, we have dealt with coronavirus effectively. I think the BJP cannot deal with this and that is why they are conspiring to topple the Congress-led Rajasthan government. ”

He said, “BJP formed a government in Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka, but I am sure this time BJP has chosen a wrong state. This time Congress workers are united in Rajasthan and they are not fulfilling their dream of toppling the government.”

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has sought time to meet Governor Kalraj Mishra to propose a fresh proposal for calling an assembly session.

Governor Kalraj Mishra said in a letter to CM Gehlot on Friday that the latter had decided to politicize the government’s wish for the assembly session and was hurt by the decision it had to take.
