Vicky Kaushal Pays Homage To Soldiers Martyred In 2016 Uri attack

Mumbai: Actor Vicky Kaushal, who played Major Vihan Singh Shergill in the 2019 hit film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, recalled the people who died in the brutal Uri attack three years ago.

It was on this day in 2016 when some Indian Army personnel lost their lives after being attacked by some heavily armed militants in Uri town in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Honouring those dead souls, the 31-year-old shared a picture of the martyred soldiers together on his Instagram story and wrote, “Remembering the brave hearts we lost on this day 3 years in the Uri attack.”

In a work front, Vicky is all set for his upcoming film Booth-Part One The Haunted Ship produced by Karan Johar.
Kaushal will also portray the freedom fighter Udham Singh, who assassinated Michael O’Dwyer, in a biopic directed by Shoojit Sircar, following which he will star as the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in Takht, a historical drama directed by Johar, which features an ensemble cast, including Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Bhumi Pednekar.
