Vidya Balan Shares Post Remembering The Extraordinary Woman- Shakuntala Devi

Mumbai: Vidya balan, who is essaying the role of a mathematician Shakuntala Devi in an upcoming biopic, took instagram to pay tribute to the genius of her 90th birth anniversary.

Vidya balan is known for pioneering a change in the portrayal of women in Hindi cinema with her roles in female led films.

Vidya shared a picture if ‘human computer’ on her instagram account, she wrote, “Charismatic, witty and exceptionally brilliant,  she gave the world more reasons than one to be awe with her! Remembering the extraordinary woman, #shakuntaladevi on her birth anniversary.”

Shakuntala devi is popular known as ‘human computer’. She wrote a number of text about mathematics, puzzles and astrology. She wrote a book ‘The World Of Homosexuals’ which considered the first study of homosexuality in India.

Last month, Vidya Balan shared a teaser of Shakuntala devi- human computer. The teaser filled with numeric calculations and formulas. The actor is totally dedicated to the subject maths in the film.

The film is based on the life of mathematics genius of the same who was known for the ability to make incredible calculations. The film will hit the screen during summer, 2020.
