Violent Protestors Desecrated Mahatma Gandhi’s Statue Erected Outside Indian Embassy In US

Mumbai: The violent mob of protesters desecrated the Mahatma Gandhi’s statue erected outside the Indian Embassy in Washington DC.

The US Park Police have launched an investigation to probe the matter. The locals report that the statue was graffitied with spray paints.

Expressing concern over the disrespect caused to Gandhi, The US Ambassador Ken Juster spoke apologetically to the Indians seeking cooperation and patience until the state recovers.

“So sorry to see the desecration of the Gandhi statue in Washington, DC. Please accept our sincere apologies”, says Ken.

“Appalled as well by the horrific death of George Floyd & the awful violence & vandalism. We stand against prejudice & discrimination of any type. We will recover & be better.”
