Watch: 18-Yr-Old Man Falls Off Mumbai Local Train After Hitting Pole, Injured

Mumbai: An 18-year-old man sustained leg and hand injuries when he fell off a running Mumbai local train after being hit by a signal pole on Thursday morning.

The labourer, identified as Danish Hussain Khan, a resident of Bhaskar Nagar in Kalwa, along with three other passengers broke through a narrow, closed door of a motor coach (which is attached between the coaches) of a suburban train, the official said.

He said Khan lost his balance and fell on the tracks after hitting a signal pole near the slow line between Kalwa and Thane stations at around 9.30 am.

A video of the incident recorded by some passengers travelling from Pune to Mumbai CSMT on Deccan Queen went viral on social media.

In these videos, Khan is seen falling on the tracks after accidentally brushing on a signal pole while trying to turn back.
