Watch: Sanitation Worker At AIIMS Delhi Becomes First Person To Receive COVID19 Vaccine Shot In India

Mumbai: Manish Kumar, a sanitation worker from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, became the first person to receive a Covid-19 vaccine shot at the hospital during the nationwide vaccine launch on Saturday.

Later, doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers were also vaccinated at AIIMS, New Delhi.

Union health minister Harsh Vardhan was also present at AIIMS when the first vaccine shot was administered.
