WB Registers Record Recovery Of 4,283 COVID Patients

Mumbai: The Health Department said in a bulletin that on Friday, West Bengal reported the highest single recovery of 4,283 COVID-19 patients, with a total of 3,54,732 people recovering.

The toll rose to 7,177 after death due to illness of 55 more people.

The bulletin said 3,942 people tested positive for the infection that pushed the 3,9,466 tally.

Currently, the number of active cases is 35,557.

In the last 24 hours, 45,352 samples have been tested for coronavirus in the state.
