“We Have Asked Bhojpuri Actors For The Upliftment Of Uttar Pradesh”, CM Yogi Adityanath

Mumbai: On Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath voiced name of Bhojpuri actors who joined BJP.

The BJP leader said, “Hum do Bhojpuri kalakaron ko chunaav lada rahe hain; ek Azamgarh, aur ek Gorakhpur se. Mumbai se pakad ke laye hain inko, zabardasti laye hain ki ab poorvi UP ke liye bhi kuchh karo. Jab yeh kalakaar sansad banenge to poorvi UP mein bhi filmcity ban sakti hai. For fighting elections this time, we have brought 2 BJP artists especially from Mumbai and urge them to do upliftment of eastern Uttar Pradesh as well. Eastern UP may also get its own filmcity after their joining).

Bhojpuri actor Dinesh Lal Yadav aka Nirahua is fielded by BJP from Azamgarh where he will compete against SP chief  Akhilesh Yadav.

Ravi Kishan is fielded from Gorakhpur.

In 2016, the SP government has awarded him with Yash Bharti. Ravi kishan is mahant of Gorakhnath temple voiced about how Gorakhpur belongs to Yogi.

According to the local media reports, Ravi Kishan will take the slippers of Yogi if he win and will work for the upliftment of public.

Mulayam Singh Yadav in the year 2014 has won the Gorakhpur elections. Since 1996, either Samajwadi Party (SP) or Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has won the Azamgarh parliamentary seat only with exception in 2009 with the victory of Ramakant Yadav.

Candidate backed by temple has been significantly won the Gorakhpur seat. When it was vacant after Yogi became CM, the 2018 polls saw the victory of Praveen Nishad from SP. Although, recently Praveen joined BJP and has given a ticket from there.
