“We Have Enough Resources Does Not Need BJP’s Money To Rebuild,” Mamata Banerjee

Mumbai: Bengal does not need your money (BJP), we have ample resources for the reconstruction of Vidyasagar statue in a college in Kolkata after Amit Shah’s road show, Mamta Banerjee said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised to set up the statue in the same place, where he stood before being naked on Tuesday.

Addressing a rally here, Banerjee said, “Modi has promised to rebuild the statue of Vidyasagar in Kolkata. We should take his (BJP’s) money, Bengal has adequate resources.

She warned, “BJP has destroyed the 200-year-old heritage of West Bengal, those who support the party will not be accepted by the society.”

He said, “BJP is trying to provoke people with its fake post on social media and incite riots.”
