Went To UAE For Work In March, Stranded For 2 Months With 4 days’ Clothes: Mouni Roy

Mumbai: Actress Mouni Roy is stranded in Abu Dhabi after a four-day work trip due to the Coronavirus pandemic. She is living with a childhood friend.

Mouni, who travelled to the United Arab Emirates in March to shoot a magazine, told Mid-Day, “After the shooting, I decided to stay back in Abu Dhabi for two weeks because my next project was on April. Was to end. 15. I was probably ignorant, but I had not imagined that the world would stop. I am stuck here with four days of clothes.

All domestic and international flights have been suspended due to the epidemic, as Mouni has no choice but to stay in Abu Dhabi. She admitted that she is concerned about her family in Cooch Behar.

She said. “I am relieved that my brother is my mom’s side at this time. My cousins also live close by, that’s an added advantage.”

She said, “I am oscillating between anxiety and peace. Everyone around the world is going through a difficult time. So, I sought solace in the fact that I have a roof over my head and a warm family, away from home. That said, I am eager to return to India.”
