“While Respecting Judgement Of The Court, There Should Be Trust And Feelings Of Brotherhood Among Us” Rahul Gandhi

Mumbai: Rahul Gandhi says today that, he respects the judgement of the Supreme Court about the Ayodhya verdict and he also appealed the public to respect. shortly after his Congress party said it favoured the construction of a Ram temple on the disputed site.

In 1992, Kar Sevaks sparked the deadly riots and destroyed the Babri Masjid claiming it’s the birthplace of Bhagwan Ram. Now by the judgement of SC, the way got cleared to build a Ram temple on Bhagwan Ram Janmabhoomi.

Without discrimination, the court also gave a statement that the Sunni Waqf Board will get the alternate land of 5 acres to build the Mosque in Ayodhya.

In a tweet Rahul Gandhi said, there should be the feelings of trust and brotherhood among the people of the nation and everyone should respect the judgement.

After the verdict by the supreme court, the Congress party discussed this judgement at their level in a special meeting of the party’s working committee and passed a resolution for it.

The resolution appeals that, “abide by the secular values and spirit of fraternity enshrined in the Constitution and to maintain peace and harmony”. This resolution was passed by the Congress party chief Sonia Gandhi.

By quoting the resolution, the Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said, “It is the responsibility of each one of us to reaffirm our tradition of mutual respect and unity among all that has defined our society through the ages.”
