Will Discuss Every Issues In Meeting Says Union Minister Tomar Ahead Of Talks With Farm Leaders

Mumbai: Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that he is hopeful that the two parties will find a positive solution regarding the issue.

ANI quoted minister saying, “I am hopeful that we will find a positive solution today. We will discuss all issues in the meeting.”

“Baithak mein sabhi vishyon par charcha hogi. ( We will discuss every issue in the meeting),” the minister said.

Talking to ANI Tomar said that if the farmers are adamant on their demand to repeal the three agricultural laws then the government will definitely try to discuss “clause by clause”.

“We will definitely try to discuss laws clause by clause,” said Tomar.

While leaving for Krishi Bhavan with junior minister Kailash Chaudhary, Tomar said that every time he goes for discussion, he does so with the intention of resolving the issues for which the farmers are agitating.

The minister said, “We are in talks with the farmers today at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. The chanting of the night is soaked and we are safe (we will succeed and we will succeed).”

Tomar further added, “Every time we think of resolving it before going and we go with a positive attitude, if resolved it will be good. I hope it will be resolved.”

Farmers have been protesting on different borders of the national capital since November 26 against the three newly enacted farm laws-Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
